japi-compliance-checker software package provides tool to compare compatibility of Java library API, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install japi-compliance-checker
japi-compliance-checker is installed in your system.
Make ensure the japi-compliance-checker package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep japi-compliance-checker *
You will get with japi-compliance-checker package name, version, architecture and description in a table
